We are a little behind on the blog entries, so it is a little late that we are pleased to announce that we were shortlisted at Cannes for this ad we shot with The Weather Channel and Wings, a division of Grey Worldwide.

Here are my latest ads in The WORKBOOK, as well as the ads from my agents’ group – ETC CREATIVE.

Cary Weldy

I was given a brief to photograph a designer for i4design magazine’s ‘Suite 16′ edition.

The designer I was chosen to photograph was Cary Weldy, an interior designer who uses his intuitive abilities to design spaces using Sacred Geometry.

For stylistic direction, I was sent a copy of Marilyn Monroe’s 1953 thriller, ‘Niagara’. The idea was to create a portrait that pulled inspiration from the way Henri Hathaway lit, directed talent & created a sense of uncomfortable drama in this film. Below is the portrait of Cary.

This is Geovanny, an insane break dancer and member of the break dancing crew called ‘The Freak Show’. I don’t know how does what he does, but he does. It’s worth googling this man. He will blow your mind.
